Principal's Report EPS 2023 Fair - What A Day! We could not have wished for a better day in terms of the weather for last Saturday 11th November - like Goldilock's porridge, not too hot and not too cold! I hope that everyone who attended had a wonderful time, tasting different treats, playing the games, purchasing lots of market goodies and enjoying the exciting rides on offer. Principal's Report 2024 Classes As we commence Term 4, teachers begin the process of creating classes for 2024 to establish the best learning environment for them again with their peers. There are several factors that are considered in finding the best balance for each grade such as: Achievement levels Behavioural challenges Interpersonal relationships between students Teacher recommendations Achieving even a semi-equal distribution of these factors simultaneously is no small feat! Principal's Report 2023 – Term 4: Hold Onto Your Hats! We have so many exciting things coming up this term! The Life Education program starts this term for all grade levels – covering topics from building friendships to cyber safety. We have Murrundindi visiting with all of our students this term also to focus on indigenous education and we will be opening our beautiful new Yarning Circle, supplied by Treasuring our Trees, on our Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day on Wednesday 25th October. Principal's Report Well done to everyone involved in the EPS Colour Fun Run last week! As a school we have raised just over $10,000 to go towards our playgrounds. Thank you to all of the very helpful volunteers we had to squirt the colourful powder on us as we ran around – so much fun! Principal's Report The end of 2023 sees the end of the current School Strategic Plan (SSP 2029-2023) for improvement, which the Annual Implementation Plan is based on. This plan determines what changes and improvements we aim to make as a school to continue to put the best teaching practices into place to support our students to reach their learning growth potential.
