School Canteen

Emerald Primary School has a well-equipped canteen that operates every school day, providing both lunch orders and over-the-counter sales during recess and lunchtime. Our canteen is proudly managed by Mrs Loren Marshall, who is committed to providing fresh, delicious and nutritious food for our school community.

We aim to promote healthy, wholesome meals and snacks at affordable prices. Wherever possible, food is prepared on-site using fresh ingredients and locally sourced produce.

While we do not use any nut products in our canteen, please note that foods containing eggs and flour are prepared on-site. Our menu includes a clear dietary guide, making it easy for families to identify suitable options for a range of dietary requirements.

The canteen is regularly inspected by the Cardinia Shire Council Health Department, ensuring all food preparation and equipment meet current food safety standards.

Ordering Lunch

Lunch orders can be placed:

  • Online via the School24 app before 9:30 am each school day.
  • By cash, using a lunch order bag or envelope and placing it in the canteen basket in your child’s classroom in the morning.
