Principal's Report This coming Friday morning, we are looking forward to welcoming local police officers to EPS before school as part of Walk to School Day. Students will have the opportunity to meet the officers, learn more about road safety and receive some fun temporary tattoos to celebrate the occasion. We encourage families to support students in walking, riding or scooting safely to school where possible. We have already had the Ambulance Service and CFA visit this week with the Prep students! Principal's Report We have had some requests to run this session during school hours, so we are doing a repeat next Wednesday 20th May for Parents and Carers who will be assisting with PMP for Prep Students this term. We invite you to attend a Volunteer Induction session next Wednesday 20th May in the Library at 2.45pm. The Volunteer Induction Handbook will be distributed at this meeting and discussed. This Handbook will also be distributed electronically after the session to those who are unable to attend. Principal's Report As per the Compass message yesterday, our apologies for any inconvenience caused, but we have decided to move the Colour Fun Run from this Friday 8th May to next Monday 11th May. With heavy rain predicted the day before and on the day, and to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, it has been necessary to make this change. Principal's Report It has been another exciting and active time at Emerald Primary School this week, with our Grades 3–6 students taking part in today’s Cross Country Run event and demonstrating great determination and school spirit. Principal's Report It has been wonderful to welcome our students, staff and families back for Term 2. Principal's Report Thank you to Peta Woodyard and Olivia McLeod for running our first “Family Picnic Night”! It was a great evening weather-wise and a wonderful opportunity for our EPS community to gather and enjoy each other’s company, not to mention being entertained by some excellent performances on the night! Principal's Report Our “Fundraising & Fun Team” are busy organising a family-friendly fun event for the evening of Saturday 21st March. It will be held at the school from 5pm to 8pm, with food vans, entertainment and a raffle. All funds raised will be going towards the refurbishment and repair of the Friendship Tree Garden. Principal's Report _ Olivia C.C. of Grade 4 attended the Diving State Championships this past weekend and won 3 Silver state medals! Amazing work Olivia!
