Principal's Report We know that Sunday night’s horrific events at Bondi Beach may have affected some people in our community deeply. Incidents like this can be distressing for adults and children alike, and it is natural to feel unsettled, sad, or anxious after such news. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost loved ones and send our care and support to anyone in our school community who may be directly impacted. Principal's Report I am very happy to announce the teaching team for 2026 – it is a privilege to work with these excellent educators! As I announced a few weeks ago, we are farewelling Mrs. Gail Fraser at the end of this year, who has been an amazing part of the EPS community for so long. In addition, Sonia Sensei will be on leave in 2026, and we welcome Mrs. Claire Marshall to teach Japanese/Nihongo next year. We are also looking forward to welcoming back Mrs. Megan Ashmore and Mrs. Vyvan Cornell to the EPS team to start 2026! [...]

Principal's Report What a fantastic week we’ve had at school! I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sonia Sensei and all of our dedicated staff for organising and running such an engaging and vibrant Japanese Day. It was wonderful to see so many students embracing the spirit of the day with their colourful and creative costumes. The enthusiasm as students completed their activities across the school was truly uplifting. Principal's Report This evening we look forward to welcoming our 2026 Grade Prep families to the Meet the Teacher session, followed by a sausage sizzle. It’s always an exciting milestone for our newest students as they begin their transition into school life. A reminder that this Friday, 28th November, is a student-free day while staff undertake a Professional Practice Day. No students are required at school. We are counting down to Japanese Day next Tuesday, 2nd December. This is always a highlight on our calendar and a fantastic celebration of culture, language and learning. We can’t wait to see [...]
