Principal’s Report
Congratulations to all of our competitors in the Regional Cross-Country event last week. We now wish Ollie D. of Grade 6 all the very best, as he finished 4th in his age group and qualified for the State Cross Country event on 24th July. Go Ollie!
Thank you to all our families who have made voluntary contributions to our school this year for your support and generosity. Parent contributions enable us to provide high quality teaching and learning programs and resources to support your children’s education. Your contributions allow us to provide all classroom stationery and materials, resources for literacy and numeracy (readers and maths equipment), support our Specialist programs, and provide whole school activities. With the extra funding provided with the School Savings Bonus towards uniforms and school activities, we hope that families will consider supporting the school by making a parent contribution. If you have yet to make a contribution and would like to do so, please remember you are able to make a payment at any time through the Compass Payments Centre, or you are welcome to come into the office to pay via EFT or cash.
Bookings will open this week for the Parent-Teacher Interviews on Thursday 3rd July, between 11:30am and 6:30pm.
We look forward to meeting our families at the upcoming Parent-Teacher Interviews. Please note that this is a student free day at school as the interviews are held during the day and into the evening. This meeting with your child’s teacher is a great opportunity to:
- discuss the Semester 1 2025 report
- learn more about your child’s academic, emotional and social development
- make plans with the teacher about how you can both support your child with their learning growth
As always, please contact myself or our Assistant Principal, Carice D’Rozario, if you have any general concerns or queries.
