Principal's Report What a wonderful few weeks it has been at Emerald Primary School! Our Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day was an absolute highlight, with so many smiling faces filling the classrooms and grounds. Principal's Report Planning Classes for 2026 As we continue Term 4, teachers begin the process of creating classes for 2026 to establish the best learning environment for them again with their peers. There are several factors that are considered in finding the best balance for each grade such as: Achievement levels Behavioural challenges Interpersonal relationships between students Teacher recommendations Achieving even a semi-equal distribution of these factors simultaneously is no small feat! Principal's Report Our Grade 6 students shone brightly at the first showing of their production, The X Factory. The matinee performance was a great success, with the audience treated to energy, humour and plenty of talent. With two evening performances still to come, we are so proud of our senior students and look forward to more families enjoying the show. Principal's Report Last week our school was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated Book Week with the theme of “Book an Adventure”. Principal's Report This week we have been celebrating Book Week 2025 with the exciting theme of “Adventures”. Mrs. D’Rozario and I have enjoyed visiting classrooms to share some of our favourite adventure stories with students, including Dear Zoo, Pig the Pug, The Enchanted Wood, Peter Pan and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland! Principal's Report Congratulations to our Preps who have thrived in their first 100 days of school! Today began with a student and staff parade displaying our ‘older, brighter, smarter’ students in their fabulous costumes. Our school community had the opportunity to cheer our kids on and acknowledge the hard work and resilience this group have already shown.
