Principal's Report Our students continue to make us proud! Congratulations to our Grade 5 Speech Contest participants, Ashtyn L. and Matilda N., who represented Emerald Primary with confidence and poise. Principal's Report Bushfire At Risk Register for Schools – Emerald Primary School is in Category 3 School preparedness and pre-emptive actions for the bushfire season Schools and early childhood services undertake a range of activities each year to prepare for bushfires and grassfires. The Department of Education conducts an annual fire risk assessment of schools and early childhood services. Those at the greatest levels of risk are published on the Bushfire At-Risk Register (BARR) and Category 4 list. Our Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day was an absolute highlight, with so many smiling faces filling the classrooms and grounds. Principal's Report Planning Classes for 2026 As we continue Term 4, teachers begin the process of creating classes for 2026 to establish the best learning environment for them again with their peers. Principal's Report Our Grade 6 students shone brightly at the first showing of their production, The X Factory. The matinee performance was a great success, with the audience treated to energy, humour and plenty of talent. With two evening performances still to come, we are so proud of our senior students and look forward to more families enjoying the show. Principal's Report Last week our school was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated Book Week with the theme of “Book an Adventure”.
