Star of the week!
This Week…
Book Week 2025
Last week we celebrated Book Week with lots of creativity and excitement! The week finished with our much-loved Dress-Up Day on Friday, where students and staff brought their favourite book characters to life with amazing costumes. A big thank you to everyone who joined in the fun.
We also had a wonderful response to the postcard competition, with so many imaginative entries. All of the postcards are now proudly on display in the library—make sure you pop in to see the fantastic creations from our talented students.
Congratulations to our Postcard Competition Winners!
-
Junior Prize: Indigo W (1/2W)
-
Senior Prize: Matilda N (5F)
A huge thank you goes to Lyn Watson of Grace & Louie Booksellers in Emerald for donating the very generous gift vouchers awarded to our winners.

Dear EPS Parents and Carers,
The eSafety Commissioner (eSafety) is the Australian
Government’s independent online safety regulator.
Their purpose is to help safeguard Australians at risk of
online harms and to promote safer, more positive online experiences.
They have a range of free webinars for parents and carers. These
live webinars give parents and carers the knowledge, skills and tools to
support their children to have safe online experiences.
Please follow this link (https://www.esafety.gov.au/parents/webinars)
for more details.
Here, also, is a link to the parent resources page to
support parents and carers with eSafety information for children. https://www.esafety.gov.au/parents
Kind regards,
Bianca Appleby
