 More information

For more information about enrolling your child into a Victorian government primary school, visit Enrolling in Foundation (Prep).

Please contact us via email: emerald.ps@education.vic.gov.au, or phone 03 5968 4311.  We’re here to help and will get back to you quickly. We look forward to your application and hope you will be joining our school community soon.

We look forward to welcoming grandparents and special friends to Emerald Primary School on Thursday 13th August. This is always a wonderful opportunity for our students to share their learning, classrooms and school with some the important people in their lives.

Our annual Book Fair will be running throughout the week beginning Monday 10th August. It’s a fantastic opportunity to discover some great new books while helping to raise funds for our school library. We encourage families to come along, browse the range and support a lifelong love of reading.

Please see attached some very important information in regards to protecting the health of a student at Emerald Primary School. Your support and co-operation is very much appreciated.

This Week…

School Uniform Reminder

As the colder weather continues, we understand that students may wish to wear extra layers to stay warm. We kindly remind families that, in accordance with our School Uniform Policy, students are expected to attend school each day wearing the full and correct school uniform.

To help students stay warm throughout winter, our Uniform Shop stocks a range of approved winter uniform items, including warm jumpers and school jackets. These items provide extra warmth while ensuring students continue to meet our school’s uniform expectations.

Wearing the correct uniform helps foster a sense of belonging, school pride and equality across our school community. We appreciate the ongoing support of our families in ensuring students come to school dressed in the appropriate uniform each day.

Food Boxes Available

In addition to the breakfast food we receive from the Food Bank, we have recently received a number of food boxes containing a variety of pantry essentials, including tinned foods, fruit cups, cereal, long-life milk, soups and rice.

If your family would benefit from a food box, please visit the school office to collect one. All enquiries will be treated with care and respect, and boxes are available while supplies last.
