Principal's Report We were very excited to hold our first-ever Junior School House Sports Carnival last Wednesday 13th March. Thanks to the Grade 6 House Captains, Grade 6 Student Council and the Grade 6 teaching team, this fun event ran from 12pm until 3.30pm. Craig Appleby and Ben Kolb planned the day for all Junior School students (Prep to Grade 2), with activities taking place on the School Oval and in the Stadium. Principal's Report Congratulations to the following amazing participants in the recent Divisional Swimming Carnival, after their successes at the EDEC Swimming Carnival: Rainger K,  Jude O, Ollie D, Riley S, Alex K, Ashley T, Will R-S, Matilda-Maple C-C, Isla H, Imogen B, Elena R, Abigail B, Tiago F, Miles G, Odin S. The girls’ team came first in their Medley relay and second in their Freestyle relay. Matilda came first in both individual Breaststroke and Backstroke. Principal's Report Storm Event – Tuesday 13th February I wanted to say thank you to all of our EPS Comminuty last week for rallying around when the going got tough and we had to close for a day, and then operate without power for the rest of the week. I really appreciate the efforts of the teachers and support staff to keep classes learning and the school functioning safely during this time. Principal's Report Parent-Teacher Connect Meetings  Bookings are now open for the Parent-Teacher Connect Meetings on Thursday 15th February, running from 12.30pm to 8pm.  As per last year,this year the meetings will be in-person. You can book times via Compass. Students are dismissed at 12pm on the day, but we are able to supervise students from then until 3.30pm if you are not able to collect your children earlier. Please advise your child's teacher or the Office Staff, or send an email to emerald.ps@education.vic.gov.au, if you need to have your child/children stay until 3.30pm.
