Principal's Report 2023 – Term 4: Hold Onto Your Hats! We have so many exciting things coming up this term! The Life Education program starts this term for all grade levels – covering topics from building friendships to cyber safety. Principal's Report Well done to everyone involved in the EPS Colour Fun Run last week! As a school we have raised just over $10,000 to go towards our playgrounds. Thank you to all of the very helpful volunteers we had to squirt the colourful powder on us as we ran around – so much fun! Principal's Report The end of 2023 sees the end of the current School Strategic Plan (SSP 2029-2023) for improvement, which the Annual Implementation Plan is based on. This plan determines what changes and improvements we aim to make as a school to continue to put the best teaching practices into place to support our students to reach their learning growth potential. Part of the review involves us checking in with the students, teachers, families and the community on how they think we are travelling as a school, what are we doing well and what are some opportunities for improvement. Principal's Report EPS families will be asked soon to participate in the 2023 Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey (previously known as the Parent Opinion Survey). Each year the school conducts an opinion survey with the school community. While previously a random sample of approximately 30 per cent of parents/caregivers/guardians have been selected to participate, this year, all families are invited to participate in the survey. Results will be used to inform and direct our future school planning and improvement. It would be great if you could pass this information on to any families you know of who may wish to enrol their Prep child for next year. Families will be advised by Friday 11th August regarding confirmation of their placement at EPS.
