Principal's Report Our whole school “Step Up” Transition Morning, for students to be in their new 2025 classes and meet their teachers for next year, will be held next Tuesday 10th December. Our Grade 6 students also head off for an experience at their new schools on that day too, with our new 2025 Preps joining us also for the morning. The Grade 6 Graduation event is fast approaching on Friday 13th December. Principal's Report The Victorian Government is delivering the School Saving Bonus (SSB) – a one-off $400 support for government school students from Prep to Year 12 in 2025. From Tuesday 26 November 2024, you will receive an email from the Department of Education with your unique $400 School Saving Bonus code. The School Saving Bonus will help families cover the cost of uniforms, textbooks, excursions, activities and more. Principal's Report The Grade 4 and Grade 6 students have returned from their respective camps over the last few weeks – exhausted and tired, but full of excitement over their experiences at Sovereign Hill and Woorabinda camps. Principal's Report We are once again excited to be holding our Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day on Thursday 28th November. Everyone is welcome to arrive any time from 11.30am, which is a little while after Recess finishes. The meeting point for your children and their guests to find each other will be outside their classrooms. Guests can go straight there, or if not sure where to go, attend the Main Office and student helpers will be there to guide them. Principal's Report We decided to move our Fair Day a bit earlier this year and we struck it lucky with amazing weather and of course, wonderful community support. It is a fun day for the school community to come together and work to raise funds for improving our school and its surrounds for the students to enjoy. Principal's Report This is a notification that the Canteen will be closed on Monday 4th November – so there will be no lunch orders that day, and the Canteen will not be open at recess or lunch. Please note that all teaching staff are required to have one further Professional Practice Day for this term, when they will complete assessments, planning and other school tasks for their professional learning.
